ALN's Relations: Current Educational Trends and Concepts and their Relation to ALN
Synopsis: This document was an attempt to describe how the concept of asynchronous learning networks (ALNs) related to various concepts, fields, and trends which already in education and training at the time. Each "relation" was described in three ways: 1) a brief definition or description of the concept, or trend, etc.; 2) an explanation of its significance; and 3) an explanation of how the trend, or concept relates to ALN (e.g, similarities and differences).
