2007 Sloan-C OL Survey Released: OL Enrollments Reach 20%

The newly-released Sloan-C 2007 annual report on online learning was released yesterday (10/22/07). Among the report's notable findings is that nearly 20% of all U.S. college students were taking at least one online course in Fall 2006, which is more than double the percentage which took online courses four years previously.

John Sener of Sener Learning Services provided editorial support for the preparation of this report. This report formally acknowledges this support for the first time; however, SLS has also provided editorial support for Sloan-C online survey reports over the past few years.

The SLS blog will feature a series of commentaries on some of the report's more notable findings and implications.
